Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using a SkyzeAudio app ("we") or this website, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What the service is

BassRig is an app that turns your device (iPad, iPhone and, in the future, Android) into a sound processor for bass: tuner, drive, compressor, EQ, cab simulation via IRs, amp captures and a bass synth. Audio processing happens on your device and works offline; online features (account, feedback, community) are optional.

3. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your devices, under the store's rules (App Store or Google Play). You may not copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, sell or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law expressly allows it.

4. Your files are yours

• IRs (.wav), captures (.nam) and presets you import or create remain yours. We claim no ownership over them.
• You are responsible for having the right to use the files you import. Respect the licenses of the community capture and IR creators.
• The app doesn't upload your files to our servers (except if, in the future, you publish a preset to the community — specific rules will be presented then).

5. Account

An account is optional and only needed to send feedback or join community features. You agree to provide truthful information and keep your password safe. You can delete your account at any time — see Account deletion.

6. Pricing, subscriptions and founders

• At launch, BassRig is offered for free. Subscription features may be introduced later — always clearly announced, with a trial period when offered.
• Charges are made by the App Store or Google Play on your store account. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in the store settings, up to 24 hours before renewal. We don't refund directly — refunds follow the store's policies.
• Founders: anyone who installed the app before charging was introduced keeps lifetime access to the features they already used, verified by the first-install date/version recorded by the store.
• Subscription validity works offline: a missing connection never blocks the app before the real expiration date.

7. Live use — read this

BassRig is designed for the stage and tested seriously, but the live result depends on factors outside our control: device, audio interface, cables, system settings and other running apps. Test your full setup before any performance. We are not liable for failures, interruptions or damages arising from use in live performances.

8. Intellectual property

The app, the SkyzeAudio brand, the BassRig name, the design and the factory content (bundled presets and tones) are ours or licensed to us. The .nam and .wav formats are open and belong to their respective communities and standards.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law — and without removing rights that consumer protection law guarantees you — we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event.

10. Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account whenever you want. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms (e.g. abuse of online services), preserving your rights over past purchases per the store's policies.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Relevant changes will be announced in the app or by email with reasonable notice. Continued use after they take effect counts as acceptance.

12. Law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. When you are a consumer, the venue is your place of residence; otherwise, the courts of SkyzeAudio's domicile.
