Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026 · applies to skyzeaudio.web.app and the BassRig app (iOS/iPadOS; Android when available) · In case of divergence, the Portuguese version prevails.
The honest summary
- Your audio never leaves your device. All of BassRig's sound processing happens locally. We don't record, listen to, or upload your sound anywhere.
- The account is optional. Playing, editing and saving presets works 100% offline and signed out.
- Diagnostics only with your consent, per send. Never automatic uploads.
- No ads, no cross-app tracking, no selling data. Ever.
1. Who we are
SkyzeAudio ("we") is an independent audio app studio, based in Brazil. We are the data controller for the data described in this policy, under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law 13.709/2018). Contact for any privacy matter: ola@skyzeaudio.com.
2. What we collect (and when)
On the website (iOS notify list)
- Your email, the signup source (e.g. Instagram) and the date — that's all.
In the app, without an account
- Nothing is sent. Presets, IRs, captures and settings stay on your device.
If you create an account (optional)
- Email and a user identifier. The password is handled by the authentication provider (Firebase Auth) in encrypted form — we never see it.
If you send feedback
- The feedback text, the app version, the OS version and the device model, with date and time.
If you attach diagnostics to feedback (consent on every send)
- A technical snapshot: sample rate, buffer size, computed latency, processing load, audio-connection log (e.g. interface plugged/unplugged) and crash reports (MetricKit/Crashlytics). It contains no audio and no recordings.
Purchases and subscriptions
- Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never have access to your card details — we only receive the entitlement status (e.g. "subscription active until such date").
3. What we never collect
- Audio, recordings or any sound content of yours.
- Audio-usage analytics (what you play, when, for how long).
- Location, contacts, photos.
- Advertising identifiers or cross-app/site tracking.
4. What we use the data for
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis (LGPD) |
|---|---|---|
| Notify-list email | Notify you about the iOS launch | Consent |
| Account data | Authenticate you and link your submissions | Contract performance |
| Feedback and diagnostics | Fix bugs and improve stability and latency | Consent (per send) |
| Purchase status | Unlock purchased features, including offline | Contract performance |
5. Who we share with
We don't sell or rent personal data. We use processors that handle data on our behalf, under contract and with their own safeguards:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage and crash reports) — servers may be outside Brazil; international transfers follow Google's contractual safeguards.
- Apple / Google Play — purchase processing and app distribution.
Beyond that, we would only share data if required by law or court order.
6. How long we keep it
- Account: until you delete it (in the app or by request).
- Feedback and diagnostics: as long as needed to investigate and fix the reported issues.
- Notify list: until the iOS launch or until you ask to be removed.
- Backups are purged in cycles of up to 30 days after deletion.
7. Your rights
The LGPD guarantees you: confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, information about sharing, and consent withdrawal. To exercise any of them, write to ola@skyzeaudio.com — we reply within 15 days.
To delete your account and its linked data, see Account deletion (you can do it right in the app).
8. Security
All communication is encrypted (TLS). On the backend, access rules ensure each user can only read and write their own data. The app contains no admin credentials.
9. Children
Our products are not directed at children under 13, and account creation requires a minimum age of 13. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we'll remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
If anything relevant changes, we update this page and notify you in the app or by email when the change affects your rights. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
